My best trip is camping in Kefken, Kocaeli. I and my friends decided to go somewhere when we graduated Middle School. We were very stressful for 3 years because of OKS and we wanted to go to a holiday. Then, we met a friend’s home and arranged everything. We decided to go Kefken, Kocaeli for camping that is near the sea and there is a forest in here. First, made up a list which includes names of comings. There were 20 names with me in list and these men decided to stay 10 days with together. It was wonderful. Secondly, we rented a minibus for 10 days that was very difficult because noone could trust a man who is 14 years old. Then my best friend said to his brother this condition and persuaded him to come with us. We were pleased to hear that. His brother was 23 years old and we could rent a car by him. We wanted to stay in tent and we bought 11 tents which are for 2 people. Next, we bought a lot of food supplies for 10 days. It included some meat and chicken.
Finally, we agreed on a day and set out with our rented car. Don’t take it amiss, a 14 years old child didnt drive the car. We rented the minibus with a driver. Anyway, we reached Kefken about 3 hours. We found a place that was very expensive but we had to stay there because other places were full. The owner of this place like a fox, i didnt like him. Anyway, first of all we started to set up our rents we had good times while we were setting up. We could set up them for 2 hours after many tries. Then everybody entered their rents and started to sleep because we were very tired. It was our first day and we spent it with sleeping. We got up on evening. Everybody was hungry and immediately we made a fire for brazier. At 21:00, We finished cooking and prepared a good meal. At 21:20 There were nothing on the table. We ate everything on table because we were very hungry. Then we went to our rents and continued to sleep but we didnt extinguish the fire because the owner of place said to us “An animal can come here like snake, wolf, dog,fox,etc. You shouldnt extinguish it” I thought that he mentioned himself because he was like a fox, bad man.
The other days were wonderful. We got up at 8 o’clock, had breakfast, wandered the forest, swam, played footbal, volleyball,basketball. We used trees while playing these plays. We went to the rocky place which is shown on picture as you can see. Everyday we ate meal and chicken. We gave the other foods like spaghetti, vegetables, etc.
Everynight two men were duty near the fire. Sometimes it was frightening because of strange voices which were coming from the forest. All the mornings, someone got up with a painted face. This was a joke and it was made to everyone. The duties did this with a shoe dye. Someone was painted me on 4th day morning. I was very angry. But ı couldnt do anything and wait my turn. I had revenged on him after two days. I was very happy after that. Sense of revenge was very good.
And the last day was comen, we wanted to stay more but we couldnt because we didnt have any money. We spent all of them even we couldnt pay the whole money which were the owner’s. He cursed us more because of this. Finally, we put everything on the car and left from there. We didnt want but we had to did and we did.
Despite the last day, our trip was wonderful. I spent very good times with my friends during camp. The holiday that i went with my friends was very very amusing. I am sure, if i had gone lonely or with my family it couldn’t be like this trip.
