My job

I have a job in my life. I’m graphics designer in an agency which prepares newspapers, magazines, books, calenders, brochures, etc. Its name is Platin Agency. But, I can only work there at summers because of my school. I have been working there for 4 summers. When ı was graduated from middle school, my father’s friend who works at there said me this job. First, I didn’t accept his offer. Because I didn’t want to work, I wanted to go somewhere to take a holiday. But then ı thouht that ı can learn lots of thing at here and ı like designing, so I must go there. Finally, I went this agency with him. First day, I was very confused. Because I knew noone and nothing about Apple computer. But immediately ı met everyone. They were very friendly. All of them were older than me but they behaved me like my friend. I started to type some writings that day. I was very slow. I was typing with my 2 fingers. They were touching type. But after 1-2 weeks ı started to use my 10 fingers like them. And ı learned it after one month. I was the fastest staff in there. The other days, ı started to learn designing. I was observing them and trying to learn. I was working here 60 hours a week to learn this job. And end of first summer, I learned lots of things about designing. I learned to use Quark Xpress and Photoshop. But ı wasn’t expert. However now ı have been working here for 4 summers, and I can say “I’m expert at typing and using these programs.”
In addition, I go this agency to entertain. Because very funny customers come here. I have lots of stories about this agency. But now I want to tell you the best one: “Bombacı Adnan” This man is our customer. He is journalist and has a newspaper. This man is very very liar. But he is older than us so we can’t say anything to him. For example, one day ı was preparing his newspaper on my computer and he was next to me. He started to tell lies: “Burak, you know I am fan of Fenerbahçe. Yesterday, I and Aziz (Aziz Yıldırım-President of Fenerbahçe. He says “Aziz” J like a friend.) went to a restaurant and talked about Fenerbahçe. He drank a lot and started to hug and kiss me......” It is impossible. But I said him: “ Ooo... Aaaa. Vayy.. “ Because he is a customer and he is always right, says true. We call him Bombacı Adnan because of his lies. J
